Fred Williams, aged 76 years, had been a street photographer for 50 years when Henry Grant took this photo. Using his Aptus camera, which was made by Moore and Co of Liverpool, Williams photographed locals and tourists. Promising 'your photo in 1 minute', the Aptus produced almost instant tin plate photos for the customer to take away.
